THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION, YOU DONT HAVE TO AGREE WITH IT, BUT I DON'T MIND A DEBATE!

When it comes down to sports genre, it's exciting; but the story is not always about sports tho🤡 you can relate, I believe. Anyways, Have you tried the popular ones?

- "BLUE LOCK" - animation, spot on, but it's not about football;

- "HAIKYUU" peak animation - peak plot,

- "KUROKO'S BASKETBALL" - just try it. it's called og for a reason yk.

And finally my fav and the best one in the genre
- "CROSS GAME" - it's very underrated, I doubt you have heard or watched it. but give it a try, first episode is enough to hook, [ALERT: NO DUB AVAILABLE AND IT'S VERY UNDERRATED]
