This is the long awaited post where im going to write my thoughts about the romcom slice of life anime: Hokkaido Gals Are Super Adorable.

Since I'm no anime expert and everyone has a different taste, I'm not giving it any rating. Its just my experience, so some of my critique might just be because of the genre and not the anime, but if you disagree with anything, please let me know ❤️. (I like to discuss)

Hokkaido gals is a anime where the mc moves from the big city of Tokio to a small village called Hokkaido to live with his father and grandma.
The moment he arrives in Hokkaido he meets this this girl called Minami Fuyuki. They become close friends and she shows him around Hokkaido. She develops feelings for him and the rest is pretty much your normal slice of life romance anime.

THE MAIN GIRL: Your average gyary, but then with a bit of a village vibe. I'd say she's really similar to Marin from my dress up darling, only she teases more and is not too quickly embarrassed 😳.

THE MC: He used to be the unpopular kid in Tokio but since he went to live in Hokkaido he got really popular. That's bc he does have good qualities like being smart, hardworking and nice to people.

💭 MY THOUGHTS 🤔

THE PACING/STORY
So right off the bat, this anime has the pacing of a runaway diesel truck. I watched the first eight minutes and in those eight minutes, more things happened than some animes have in a season. But because of that quick start, it also got a bit boring later on. For me personally that was also because it kinda lacked a interesting story line, although the last two eps were just interesting enough to make up for that.

ROMANCE 💕
It has alot of romance. The mc and girl in this anime kinda seemed similar to those in my dress up darling, it's just that this anime was only focused on romance.

But yeah if you want romance, this has alot, but more in the teasing type of vibe. Also in the cool emotional romantic vibe, but not alot.

FANSERVICE 🤤
I mean you could prolly guess it from the fact that I'm watching ts, but this anime does have fanservice. I'd say its pretty much what you'd expect from a romcom anime with a gyary, but it doesn't feel forced at all. Like alot of times the fanservice even added a little to the characters, so I'd say its not too bad.

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT❓
Yes, I'd certainly recommend it to anyone who would like to watch a slice of life romcom anime. Its definitely not the best one out there, and the story ain't groundbreaking but this anime sure is some quick dopamine to feed to your brain 🧠⚡
